A Short Biography of Bishop Richard E. Taylor, Ph. D.

Bishop Richard Taylor was born and raised in Seattle Washington. He was saved in May 1955 at the age of 9 years old. He was born in the church and grew up in church, under the leadership of the late Bishop E. F. Morris, his pastor, FULL GOSPEL PENTECOSTAL MISSIONARY ASSOCIATION, where he remained as a faithful member, until he began his pastorate ministry in 1971.

 

He acknowledged his call to the ministry at the early of 16 years old. He is the product of the Late Bishop E. F. Morris, the Founder and Presiding Bishop of the FULL GOSPEL PENTECOSTAL MISSIONARY Assoc. where he held the position as the Nation Youth president for several years. He also sat at the feet of the Late Bishop U.S. King of the CHRIST HOLY SANTIFIED CHURCH of AMERICA and he served in several positions of the FEDERATED PENTECOSTAL CHURCH, International.

 

He has been a professional educator in Washington State since 1969. He is a Certified Teacher in the State Washington. His Certification allows him to teach in Secondary Education and Undergraduate Business Education and Marketing Education in the Colleges and Universities in the State of Washington. He recently created a program called “Design your own Business” which is used in his class curriculum. He has a special endorsement as a STEM TECHNOLOGY TEACHER.

 

Bishop Taylor is the Founder and Presiding Bishop of the UNITED FULL GOSPEL CHURCH, USA, with churches located in Washington and Minnesota. He also serves as the President of the FEDERATED PENTECOSTAL CHURCH, International. He is the Founder of the UNITED ECUMENICAL COLLEGE OF BISHOPS, and the President Emeritus.

 

He sits on the board of several organizations, to name a few he is a board member of the Northwest Christian Education Conference, MAR Publication and the ESL TASK FORCE of the Sumner School District in Washington. He is presently teaching STEM-Robotics in the Auburn School District, and is a past Academic Dean in the Highline School District and former Principal of a Private Elementary School for 23 years.

 

Bishop Taylor holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Theology. He also has an earned Doctorate in Christian Education.

 

He and his wife Sharon are the proud parents of five children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

 

Bishop Taylor’s message to parents everywhere, is for those parents, do not give up on their children and don’t count what man has said to be lost, when God has yet to bring in the final results on your child. God made that child and He has the final say on that child.

 

For the saints of God everywhere, Bishop Taylor wants them to be mindful, that, what God has planned and purposed for His people, He will not change His mind. It is already established and settled in heaven and His will is what matters.
